We are so excited to be CLOSER than ever to shipping Poplights to you <3
Thank you all for your amazing support as we work to make Poplight *incredible*.
We have FOUR major updates for you:
1. First, the hard news. We have experienced a delay in our timeline. This will push our estimated shipping date to the end of January 2024, just one month beyond our original timeline. While we are sad to delay getting Poplights to you, we are committed delivering the best product possible, and want to explain what caused the delay.
One of the features that makes Poplight unique (and allows Poplight to be installed and removed in seconds!) is the ability to remove the Poplight base from the Poplight light fixture (swivel and click!). When testing prototypes, we found that the swivel movement was not as smooth as it should be due to the thickness of the paint application. This issue has been corrected but the testing and correction added 4 weeks to our timeline - thus the delay in getting Poplights to you. Seethe video below for more details.
2. On to the pretty stuff: Poplight's packaging is looking fantastic (though not 100% finalized!). We're fine tuning a few pieces to make sure you have the *ideal* unboxing experience! Here's a quick video showing our first iteration.
3. The Poplight app is almost complete! The Poplight app (for iOS and Android) allows you to manage your Poplights remotely, group Poplights together, name Poplights, AND check the battery level of your Poplights. She's looking gorgeous!

The last day to make final updates to your order is July 31st at 5pm EST. This is your final chance to update your Poplight color choices from your Kickstarter pledge. There is no action required if you've already filled in your survey and do not wish to change your color choices.
After the 31st, we will lock your reward selections and charge cards for add-on item purchases and pledge upgrades. You can update your shipping address up until we lock addresses for shipping. 🚢
If you haven’t answered your survey yet, if you fill out your BackerKit survey or pay for extra shipping after the order due date (to be shared later), we’ll still receive your information but your shipment may be delayed.
